Jeep gives employees first-hand look at the new Wrangler

October 6th, 2017 by

As Jeep employees in Toledo, OH prepare to produce the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, the company used professional drivers to show them exactly what they will be building and, of course, why they’re going to love it inside and out.

Jeep employees were taken on an off-road course to experience the full capabilities of the iconic 4-wheel drive vehicle. The Wrangler comes with two options, the Pentastar V6 and also a four-cylinder 2.0 liter engine that puts out 300 horsepower, so the employees were going to have a blast either way.

Professional drivers took current employees on the course and will take future employees for test drives as well. The company built dirt and gravel courses with pitched slopes, steep hills and uneven logs to show employees how the vehicles handles on rough terrain. There is an easier course that employees can drive on themselves.

“We wanted each and every person, every time they put an element on this vehicle for our customer, to know that they are part of that history,” said Adam Hillock, HR Manager for Jeep.

Production of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will begin next month. Stop by West Herr Chrysler Jeep in Orchard Park, NY, and let our staff arrange a test drive.
