Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) is proud to announce the completion of the Scott Bieler Family Foundation Innovation & Training Center, made possible by a generous donation from Scott Bieler, President and CEO of West Herr Auto Group. The newly renovated center marks a significant enhancement in NFMMC’s capacity for education, orientation, and professional development.

The state-of-the-art facility, which began construction in January and has now been completed, features advanced audio-visual technology and interactive smart boards. This transformation of the former auditorium into a modern training center will serve both NFMMC and the broader Western New York community, providing a premier environment for healthcare education.

“The opening of the Scott Bieler Family Foundation Innovation & Training Center is a milestone for our medical center,” said Joseph Ruffolo, President and CEO of NFMMC. “Thanks to Mr. Bieler’s generous support, we are now equipped to deliver advanced training and foster educational excellence, significantly elevating the standard of healthcare we provide.”

Mr. Bieler is widely recognized for his philanthropic contributions to Western New York. His funding has been crucial in renovating the center, equipping it with cutting-edge technology to support high-quality training. This includes a complete upgrade of the original NFMMC auditorium, a space used for various meetings, health clinics, and training sessions.

“It’s an honor to support NFMMC in their mission to educate and train healthcare professionals,” said Bieler. “This project aligns with my foundation’s goals to enhance healthcare and improve the community’s well-being.”

NFMMC continues to play a vital role in training future healthcare professionals through partnerships with several educational institutions, including the University of Buffalo, Niagara University, Purdue University, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), St. John Fisher University, Niagara County Community College, and D’Youville University. The center also collaborates with local high schools such as Niagara Falls High School, Lewiston Porter High School, and Grand Island High School, offering comprehensive programs in various medical fields.
