West Herr Donates Wheelchair to 7 Year Old, Zion Smith
We recently met 7 year old, Zion, who was diagnosed with scoliosis and has undergone several surgeries. Unfortunately, complications from his most recent surgery has left him paralyzed.
Zion was in need of a specialized wheelchair recommended by his doctors, but unfortunately was denied through insurance. When our President/CEO, Scott Bieler, heard this, he knew he needed to help!
With the help of National Seating & Mobility, Scott gifted Zion the wheelchair that could potentially help him learn to walk again! Special thanks to The Official Charter School for Applied Technologies for helping us coordinate and making this day so special for Zion. We can not wait to see the progress that Zion makes! 💙 #WestHerrCares
