West Herr Helps Donate Custom Handcycle Bike to 3-year-old Motion Project Patient
Yesterday was a very special day at the Motion Project Foundation Recovery Center!
Our President & CEO, Scott Bieler, was on-hand to surprise 3-year-old Evelynn Eagen, who was left paralyzed from the waist down by a tumor on her spine as a baby, with a custom-made handcycle bike.
This special gift will allow Evelynn to power her bike using her arms & better play with the other kids in her neighborhood. The bike also has features for her parents to help steer and push her. 💕 🚲 🎉
“It’s heartwarming,” Scott told 7 News WKBW. “What a beautiful little girl and to see her get on that bicycle and be able to move it immediately, it was just a very moving day.”
