WEST HERR WEDNESDAY: Eddie Windom

For this week’s West Herr Wednesday, we headed over to West Herr Ford of Webster to meet Title & Billing Clerk, Eddie Windom! Eddie is coming up on his two-year anniversary with West Herr.

Prior to joining Team West Herr, Eddie worked in another dealership as a Receptionist & Cashier. Eddie says he wanted to work in the automotive industry because of the financial stability it can offer. He mentions that he wanted to try and learn as many other positions as possible around the dealership before jumping directly into sales.

Eddie has a friend who works at West Herr who he says encouraged him to give West Herr a shot. He says it was an easy decision because he was wanting to try out the Title & Billing position, and West Herr was able to offer that to him.

Upon starting at West Herr, he mentions that the people are the main reason why he felt so comfortable so quickly. “Title & Billing is very different from cashing people out, but I caught on quickly,” Eddie mentions.

Eddie says one of his favorite things to do is decorate their office for each holiday! During Christmas, they build a makeshift fireplace! He also says he loves to be involved in the community efforts that his dealership is a part of. One of his favorite memories is passing out candy in the annual Webster Fireman’s Parade.

Outside of work, Eddie likes to tap into his more creative side. He loves to write poetry, songs & draw. He also loves to do karaoke with friends & play boardgames!

Eddie wanted to thank his co-worker, Wendy Dupont. Wendy is the other Title & Billing Clerk that Eddie works with every day! “Wendy has been such an amazing teammate,” he says. He mentions how Wendy has helped him in whatever he needs, and he is so thankful for her! He also wanted to shout out his friend, Alyssa Luna, who is a Service Assistant at West Herr Ford of Webster. If it weren’t for Alyssa, Eddie would’ve never joined Team West Herr!

Looking into the future, Eddie has a lot of goals for himself here at West Herr. He wants to continue to learn and grow in his current role, but eventually would love to get into car sales. He believes having as much knowledge under his belt from working in numerous positions around the dealership will help him excel in sales.
