WEST HERR WEDNESDAY: Jules Scofield

For this week’s West Herr Wednesday, we headed over to West Herr Subaru of Rochester to meet Customer Care Manager, Jules Scofield! Jules has a passion for working with people, so she mentioned that automotive was the perfect industry for her!

She mentions before working at West Herr, she worked remote for about four years. At that point in her life, she felt as though she needed a change. Her boyfriend’s sister, Mercy, a Sales Consultant at West Herr Subaru of Rochester, encouraged her to give West Herr a try! “She was always just raving about West Herr,” Jules says.

As a Customer Care Manager, Jules oversees a lot of important procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. This includes paperwork, handling insurance, showing the vehicle, and delivering after the sale! “I’m such a people person, so it felt phenomenal to be able to come back and work with customers face to face,” she adds.

Jules has been with West Herr for about five-months now, and she is loving it! In the time that she’s been here, she already has so many fond memories. “Saturday lunches are one of my favorite memories. I’ve never had a company do that for their employees, so it’s always appreciated,” Jules says.

She also mentions that another memory she has is moving the cars from their old location to the new one! West Herr Subaru of Rochester has recently relocated from Brockport, NY, and all their inventory had to make it to the new location! She says her and all her coworkers drove cars over to the new location, then piled in a Sprinter van to head back and repeat the process. “Everyone was having so much fun,” she says.

When Jules isn’t at work, she is trying to be outdoors! She says that she loves to ride her four-wheeler and camp! She has a campsite in Bradford, PA, where she loves to fish and play guitar. A fun fact about Jules is her grandpa used to be in a quartet group, where she would often perform with him!

Over the last few months, Jules has had so many amazing co-workers who’ve helped her get acquainted with the West Herr Way. She first and foremost wanted to shoutout Mercy Sugar, she mentions that without her she would’ve never taken the jump to give West Herr a shot! She also wanted to shout out Man Tran, an F&I Manager at her store. “I go to Man a lot if I need anything, he’s always willing to help!” Jules says. She also wanted to mention that the management team who she works for is amazing as well!

Looking towards the future, Jules says she one day wants to see herself in management within West Herr! She says she really enjoyed seeing the process of seeing a new store open, and she would love to help facilitate a dealership opening in the future!
