WEST HERR WEDNESDAY: Kevin Kordas

For this week’s West Herr Wednesday, we headed over to West Herr Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Fiat of Rochester to meet Sales Consultant, Kevin Kordas! Kevin is coming up on his one-year anniversary with #TeamWestHerr this July!

Kevin worked in the food industry prior to beginning car sales. He worked an auto auction where he would interact with a lot of dealers who encouraged him to give car sales a shot. He started working at a dealership in Syracuse and immediately fell in love with the job. “It just felt so right,” Kevin says. Within his first year of giving sales a try, he became their #1 Sales Consultant in the company. That was eleven years ago, and Kevin hasn’t looked back since!

Kevin moved from Syracuse to Rochester about seven years ago and continued to work at dealerships in sales. He then landed at West Herr in July of 2024 and has loved it ever since. “Other jobs felt like pit stops, but West Herr feels like home,” Kevin says. He knew that West Herr was the largest automotive company in New York State, and he mentioned, “I wanted to be a part of the biggest & the best.”

Kevin says he feels so grateful to work for this company. “When I pull into work every morning I just look at the building and I just feel very grateful,” he says. Kevin also mentions how lucky he is to have such an amazing General Manager. He says Brandon, the General Manager of West Herr Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Fiat of Rochester, is incredible. “He is so understanding and caring. He is just super easy to work with,” Kevin adds.

When Kevin isn’t working, he loves to stay busy and stay active! Because he came from the food industry, Kevin loves to cook and get creative in the kitchen! His favorite dish to cook is homemade pizza! He has a dog that he loves to take for walks, and he mentioned he loves to spend time with his wife & kids!

Kevin mentions there are so many co-workers that have helped him get acquainted with the West Herr way. Along with Brandon, he wanted to shout our David Dettorre who was a Sales Manager at his location! “He is sharp, helpful, and he is one of my favorite people here,” Kevin says. He also wanted to shout out John DiMartino and Miguel Paz for always being there to help!

Kevin mentions that he has goals to make President’s Club this year and he is on track to do so! He also says he would love to one day end up in a management position. He says that his favorite part about his job is every customer having a different story and being able to help everyone’s situation.

Kevin has been such an amazing addition to #TeamWestHerr, and we cannot wait to see all that he accomplishes! Keep up the amazing work, Kevin!
