WEST HERR WEDNESDAY: Lindsay Lipomi

For this week’s #WestHerrWednesday, we headed over to West Herr Chevrolet of Orchard Park to meet Customer Care Manager, Lindsay Lipomi. Lindsay is new to the automotive industry, but she says she finally found a job that she loves!

Lindsay mentions that before working at West Herr, she did embroidery for ten years. At the time, she was looking for a big change in her career path. “I had always heard how wonderful the West Herr community is. I was able to get in, and so far, I love it here,” she says.

Lindsay says that when she was looking to go down a different career path, she knew that a good work environment and who she would be working around was super important to her, and a big reason why she decided to give West Herr a shot. “It’s a very family-oriented company, and that’s what pulled me in,” Lindsay adds. She also mentions that she loves the busyness of her job.

Prior to staring at West Herr, Lindsay had no automotive background, nor did she ever think she would end up in the car industry. She talks about how much she loves her job and how she continues to learn and challenge herself each day.

Lindsay has been on Team West Herr for about eight months now and says she has so many good memories with her co-workers. “Our store dressing up for Halloween was really fun,” she says. She also says her favorite time in the dealership is always the end of the month. “It’s always fun to celebrate the month closing with good food and our whole team,” she says.

“I feel like I have such purpose here,” Lindsay says. She mentions how much she is enjoying her job, and how it truly doesn’t feel like work to her. She explains she feels valued and important in her current role, and how she received such a warm welcome upon starting at West Herr. “My entire life has changed since working here,” she adds.

Outside of work, Lindsay loves to stay busy, especially outdoors. She loves to spend time with family and her fiancé. Lindsay owns a horse, so she spends a lot of her time riding! She loves to camp, fish, hike, spend time with her dog, and everything in between!

In Lindsay’s time here, she’s worked with a lot of amazing co-workers along the way. “Alisha Davern (Sales Consultant) is my go-to,” she says. She also mentions she appreciates all her managers, especially J.P. Fitzgerald & Samantha Manella. She appreciates the time her fellow Customer Care Managers took to help train her and get her to where she is today, especially Nick Drewiega & Gabby Liberati. “Everyone here really, truly wants you to do well,” she explains.

Looking towards the future, Lindsay has a lot of goals set here at West Herr. “I can see myself building a career here for sure,” she explains. Lindsay mentions she’s a people person and wants to end up in sales one day.
