WEST HERR WEDNESDAY: Madin Munasser

For this week’s West Herr Wednesday, we headed over to West Herr Ford of Rochester to meet Customer Care Manager, Madin Munasser! Madin joined Team West Herr in June of 2023 as a Lot Attendant, has worked his way up to a CCM role, and will soon be a Sales Consultant!

When discussing why he decided to go into the auto industry, Madin admits that while being a Lot Attendant was his first gig in the area, he had been a car person his entire life! He loves consuming any piece of car media and enjoys the process of looking to buy car, whether for him or for someone else.

When asked about why he chose West Herr, Madin said that it was the size of their presence in New York that swayed his decision. “It’s in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Rochester, and there’s over 40 stores that we have right now.” He decided to give West Herr a shot and has loved it ever since!

After about a year with West Herr, Madin’s schedule was flipped upside down due to his wife becoming pregnant. Thankfully, Madin’s wife safely gave birth to their baby daughter, and he was able to return to West Herr better than ever!

Three great months of work later, the General Manager of West Herr Ford of Rochester, Ashley Lanning, approached him and said, “I love your work, I love what you do for us, I want you to move on to be a [Customer Care Manager].” Madin has been in the role ever since!

When asked about what he does in his free time, Madin prefaced by saying he’s a very busy man! He owns a warehouse that he constantly maintains and allocates the rest of his time to his family and raising his now nine-month-old daughter. A fun fact about Madin is that he can speak Arabic!

When asked if he wanted to acknowledge anyone he had worked with, Madin began by thanking everyone that works at West Herr Ford of Rochester, but continued by specifically mentioning his general manager, Ashley. “She’s my biggest supporter throughout this journey, I really appreciate everything she does for me at this store and outside the store.”

With his successful work as a Customer Care Manager, Madin will be taking the next step in his West Herr journey by stepping up into the Sales Consultant role. “As soon as I stepped into this store, which is almost two years ago, I told Ashley I want to be a Sales Consultant.” When speaking bigger picture, he said his goal is to become a Finance Manager.

Madin’s favorite part about his current role as a Customer Care Manager is that he sees a new customer every day.  Whether it’s a person that has saved up just enough to purchase one vehicle, or it’s another who buys cars any chance they get, Madin loves working with those different people daily, and said, “My goal is to a get a car for every new customer I meet.” Keep up the amazing work, Madin!
